Sights: Firth of Forth, Forth Road Bridge, Forth Rail Bridge, Queensferry Crossing, Perth, Blair Castle, Dalwhinney Distillery.
As we leave Edinburgh, we head over the Firth of Forth, where three bridges from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries run side by side and are still in use today. Our first stop of the day is at the Victorian town of Pitlochry for 30 minutes. Here you have time to explore the town and get a bite to eat before we head off to our main attraction of the day...
We spend a full 2 hours in Forth Augustus, a village that sits at the southernmost tip of Loch Ness. You can buy discounted seats while on the bus if you wish to enjoy a 60 minute cruise on Loch Ness at 3pm while visiting Fort Augustus (£14 adults, £8 children, £42 family ticket for two adults and two children).
On our return journey south, we travel along the beautiful western side of Scotland and make three 10 minute photo stops at the Commando Memorial, Glencoe and Loch Tulla viewpoint.
Our final destination is for 30 minutes at the delightful town of Callander where you can explore the village and grab a takeaway meal to enjoy along our final journey to Edinburgh.
You won't want to nap for the last leg of the journey as we take in the sights of Doune Castle, the River Teith, the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle, the Kelpies and Linlithgow Palace along our route.
Arrival: approx 7:45 pm at Waterloo Place, Edinburgh.
Our full-day Scottish day tour comes to an end as we return to Edinburgh City Centre.
We are sure the memories of your day will stay with you for ever.
