Our Stirling Castle  Day Tour Itinerary

Our full day adventure departs from Edinburgh at 8:30 am.

As we leave Edinburgh, we’ll head north over the Firth of Forth, where Three World Famous Bridges from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries run side-by-side. (We’ll have a brief photo stop at the viewpoint.) We’ll then pass through the historic and picturesque town of Culross which has featured in several movies.

  • Stop 1: Forth Bridges Viewpoint (Photo Stop)

    An opportunity to capture memorable photos of the world famous bridges.

  • Stop 2: Stirling Castle

    This ancient castle was the preferred residence of Scottish royalty and its fascinating history embraces centuries of turbulent times, all of which left its mark for you to discover.

    Entry to Stirling Castle: Adult £15; Child £9; Concession £12.
    Note: If you intend to visit other sites run by Historic Environment Scotland, you may be able to save money with their Explorer Pass. For example, a 5-day Explorer Pass will gain you access to all their properties over a five day period (including Melrose Abbey, which is on one of our other day tours). The cost for the 5-Day Explorer Pass is: Adult £35.00; Child £21; Concession £28; Family £70 (for 2 adults and up to 6 children).

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Infants aged under 2 are free provided they do not occupy a seat. Please add a child ticket to your booking if you would like to reserve a seat for infants (highly recommended for this day tour).
Seats are first-come, first-served.
The tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Unfortunately, the tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Each traveller is allowed 1 carry-on bag size luggage. Please inform the tour operator prior to travel if you wish to store luggage or collapsible buggies in the storage area under the coach.
Tours may be cancelled if numbers are too low, but passengers will be offered an alternative tour, another date or receive a full refund.
Please note: the timings of stops and between destinations are approximate and entirely dependent on traffic conditions.
